This is a review for a vacations website.

When I first looked at their web page it looked like many other holiday reservation sites that I’ve seen but then I discovered something that made me think a bit differently. Read on to find out what.

On The Beach sell holidays on the beach (surprisingly!) and also ski holidays in different areas of the world but Andy asked me to concentrate on holidays in Spain so I tried to book a holiday and see what happened.

You have literally thousands of options for Spain holidays and hundreds of lovely beaches to choose from all year round.

If you like crowded, July & August are your months: on top of millions of foreign tourists, these are also the months when 95% of Spanish people take their month long annual holiday.

If you prefer not so crowded, any other time of the year is great and many Northern European people I’ve met much prefer the winter months. In fact, I even know some English people who live in Murcia that leave for England for the summer and come back in September, when it’s less crowded and cooler (temperatures can stretch well past 40ºC sometimes during the day and here in Murcia city they don’t drop below 25ºC even in the middle of the night.)

For this review, though, I imagined I might use OTBeach.com to book a holiday to get from the “North West of England” to “Spain” at the end of August for 2 weeks in a 4* hotel and imagined I was going with my girlfriend. The initial options are very general: “NorthWest of England”, “Spain”, “Canaries” although I imagine there’s a reason for doing it this way.
